The Wall Street Journal Radio Network's Morning Radio Program to Expand to Weekends

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 8, 2004 -- Weekend Version of America's Fastest-Growing, Early-Morning Radio-News Program To Launch Jan. 8, 2005.

The Wall Street Journal Radio Network, the leading provider of business-news programming for radio stations in the U.S., today announced that "The Wall Street Journal This Morning"--America's fastest-growing, early-morning radio-news program--will expand to weekends beginning Jan. 8, 2005.

"With more than 80 radio stations already carrying 'The Wall Street Journal This Morning' on weekdays, we know demand is very strong for the compelling news programming that only the Journal can provide."

Michael Wallace, a veteran of The Wall Street Journal Radio Network newsroom and current host of the weekday "Wall Street Journal This Morning," also will anchor "The Wall Street Journal This Weekend." Cheryl Simone-Miller, who recently joined the Journal from all-news WINS-AM, New York, also will appear on the program.

In addition to highlighting the top business stories of the week, "The Wall Street Journal This Weekend" also will have original material appropriate for Saturdays and Sundays, including:

-- "Weekend Adviser"--a look at great movies, DVDs, music and books.

-- "Takeoffs and Landings"--exclusive travel news, deals and tips.

-- "Home Front"--an update on buying and selling, design ideas and gear for your home.
