Motricity's eReader.com Announces Bestselling eBooks for March

DURHAM, N.C. --(Business Wire)-- April 29, 2005 -- Motricity, the premier provider of mobile content to consumers, today announced the top 10 bestselling fiction and nonfiction eBooks for the month of March from its eReader.com division, the world's largest and most popular eBookstore.


A brand new version of the award-winning eReader Pro was introduced on March 22, making the leading eBook reader available to the masses of mobile smartphone users. eReader Pro for Symbian enables customers to read any of eReader.com's 14,000 plus titles on their Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Sendo and other series 60 and UIQ smart phones. In April, eReader.com will introduce new updated versions of eReader Pro for Palm and Pocket PC with new Mac and Windows versions to follow. The new eReader Pro also features a built-in copy of the "Merriam Webster Pocket Dictionary."

The "Spring into Savings" promotion propelled a number of fiction titles priced below $10 up the bestseller list in March. Mystery master Michael Connelly's "The Narrows" garnered the top spot on the list narrowly beating a group of thrillers including "The Da Vinci Code", the recently released "Dante's Equation", "Angels and Demons", "Digital Fortress" and Kathy Reich's "Monday Mourning". "Time's Eye", coauthored by Arthur C. Clarke, and "Darwin's Radio/Darwin's Children" were the Sci-Fi standouts. Leading the non-fiction bestsellers is "Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity" by management guru David Allen. "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell retained a top spot on the list and the just published, "The 2,548 Best Things Anybody Ever Said" sold briskly. Dictionaries and Thesauri are perennial favorites at eReader.com and the "Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary Eleventh Edition" topped the category last month.
