Craig Lowndes has won race one of the Adelaide 500 in the V8 Supercars- Greg Murphy finished 5th

(IRN News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)Ford's Craig Lowndes has won race one of the Adelaide 500 in the V8 Supercars, with Holden's Rick Kelly second.

New Zealand's Greg Murphy finished in fifth place, with Team Kiwi's Paul Radisich an unlucky 23rd.

Radisich has failed to complete the first lap of the race after being sandwiched between Russell Ingall and Greg Murphy.

Race two gets underway at 3.30 this afternoon.
