Primex Wireless Vigorously Pursues Patent Infringement Lawsuit against Visiplex

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 16, 2006 -- Primex Wireless, Inc., the world leader in GPS wireless synchronized clock, timing and control systems, today announced it continues to aggressively litigate a patent infringement lawsuit against Visiplex Technologies, Inc., which is pending in Federal District Court in Wisconsin.


The lawsuit, originally filed in August 2005, alleges infringement of Primex Wireless' United States patent (#6,873,573) pertaining to wireless GPS-based synchronized timing systems. Primex Wireless is seeking damages for the infringement and a permanent injunction barring further manufacture, sale and use of the accused products.

In addition, Primex Wireless filed another lawsuit against Visiplex in the Nineteenth Judicial circuit in Lake County, Illinois for tortious interference with business and other claims resulting from unlawful competition and use of its confidential information and trade secrets. This case is being actively pursued by Primex Wireless to recover its damages for Visiplex's alleged violations of the law.
