Jazz Technologies Appoints Jon C. Madonna to Board of Directors

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Jazz Technologies (AMEX:JAZ) announced today that it has appointed business-veteran Jon C. Madonna to its Board of Directors. Effective immediately, Madonna will serve as Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, bringing his extensive management and boardroom experience to Jazz Technologies. This brings the total number of directors to 6, with 4 independent directors.


Mr. Madonna is the former Chairman and CEO of leading professional services organization KPMG. He was with KPMG for 28 years, where he held numerous senior leadership positions throughout his career, including Chairman from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Madonna is also currently a director of AT&T Inc., Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold Inc., Tidewater Inc. and Visa U.S.A. Inc.
