Internap's New, State-of-the-Art Facility Meets High Power Density Requirements for Gaming, E-Retail and Internet-Reliant Customers

ATLANTA --(Business Wire)-- Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a provider of choice for fast, reliable Internet business solutions today announced the opening of its newest data center, located in Seattle, WA. The robust colocation expansion, combined with Internap's route-optimized, performance IP services and content delivery network (CDN) platform, increases value for its customers. As part of a nationwide expansion project, the new data center offers colocation and IP solutions while providing a platform for access to Internap's CDN. In addition, the facility successfully meets customers' high-power density requirements, as well as cooling and connectivity demands.

The scalability, reliability and speed of the center enable customers to confidently expand their businesses and continue to grow without compromising quality and uptime. High-profile customers like Flying Lab Software, a Seattle-based game development company and maker of the critically acclaimed title Rails Across America(R), are already taking advantage of Internap's IP and data center solution. In preparation for the launch of its next-generation massively multiplayer game 'Pirates of the Burning Sea' (www.burningsea.com), Flying Lab Software is relying on Internap's robust solutions suite to power all North American operations and ramp up existing infrastructure, accommodating aggressive business expansion.

"Internap's newest world-class facility in Seattle is a critical component of our operations," said Jeremy Noetzelman, director of operations for Flying Lab Software. "The high-powered connectivity Internap provides, in addition to its scalability, speed and reliability, ensures our gaming business will be able to expand."

"We provide our customers with the best technology on the market, empowering them to build and grow through Internap's trusted, proven solutions," said James P. DeBlasio, president and chief executive officer for Internap. "As a result, customers like Flying Lab Software identify Internap's IP and data center solutions as vital to their success. As a market leader in performance IP, CDN and data center services, our expansion signifies Internap's continued success and stronghold as an Internet solutions provider."

Internap's new data center is housed on the Sabey Intergate campus and contains 10,000 square feet of raised floor, built in a hot / cold aisle design and providing an ideal operating environment for high power density customers. Featuring 10G customer connectivity, its scalable design allows for easy expansion of up to 40,000 square feet to accommodate rapid customer growth, making the facility Internap's largest data center. Internap will host an open house on September 12 to showcase the center's capabilities to current and prospective customers. Internap will also showcase a demo of Flying Lab Software's multiplayer game at the event.
