Promens buys Catalonia's STE Group (STE Group: venta de la division de tarros para cosmetica a la islandesa Promens)
(Expansion Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Icelandic multinational Promens has acquired the plastic jar production business of STE Group, a firm based in the Spanish autonomous region of Catalonia. With this acquisition, Promens will acquire a plastic container injection plant in Esparraguera, in the Catalan province of Barcelona.
This is Promens' second plant in Spain; it also has a plastic isothermal container production plant in the province of Pontevedra. STE Group, for its part, will continue to produce single-dose containers for cosmetics at its plant in Vilabela, in the province of Tarragona.
