Aeromark: Aeromark Launches Workflow DynMXtm; New Technology Transforms Design And Deployment Of Mobileworker PDA Applications

RDATE:05062008

Bedford -- Aeromark, the innovative mobile technology company, today
announced that it has launched Workflow DynMX, a new technology that
enables any organisation to design and deploy a sophisticated mobile
worker PDA application in a fraction of the time of traditional mobile
solutions and at a significantly reduced cost.

Workflow DynMX, a fully managed service, is the next generation of
Aeromark's Mobile Forms, which recently won Best Mobility Innovation
Award at the Convergence World Awards 2008, as a branded solution for
Orange.

Based on an ASP model, using Aeromark's new RapidXB technology and its
Binary Token Protocol (BTP), Workflow DynMXenables the creation of
bespoke PDA workflows without the need for bespoke software
development. Applications can now be deployed in half the time
resulting in significant cost reductions when compared with competitive
solutions.

"Previously, many organisations employed a mobile solution provider to
design and develop bespoke PDA and server applications. This was
costly, took up considerable resource and led to a dependence on the
provider for any modifications," said Roger Marks, MD of Aeromark. "We
have taken a very different technology approach to how mobile
applications are designed and deployed. Our Workflow DynMX technology
utilises our generic software the behaviour of which can be modified to
match bespoke customer workflows very quickly."

Tony Barr, IT Director, of Lantec, an IT solutions and logistics
provider, that is currently rolling out Workflow DynMX to its 175 field
engineers said, "Following an extensive review of solutions in the
mobile worker space we selected Aeromark based on its innovative
technology and its ability to deliver a complete mobile workforce
solution. We've worked closely with Aeromark to quickly develop eight
mobile workflow processes that match our specific business requirements
and we were still able to run a pilot within three weeks of signing the
contract.

"Workflow DynMX ensures fast, accurate exchange of task instructions
and resulting job completion data that will enable us to improve our
service levels and dramatically increase our operational efficiency,"
continued Barr. "Additionally, our decision to roll out the Aeromark
technology was based on the considerable cost savings it will bring.
It also offers the ability to modify workflows within days rather than
months. Alongside Workflow DynMX we are deploying Aeromark's
OptimaticsTM in our vehicles. This next level of telematics
technology, combined with Workflow DynMX, will enable us to monitor our
service levels more effectively and will deliver return on investment
through retention of our existing clients and generation of new
business opportunities."

"Workflow DynMX takes workflow designs, forms and data and compresses
them. This enables fast, secure and always-on', store-and-forward
push data communication," said Marks. "Smaller data packets of binary
information mean that the PDA connection time can be shortened
typically from 15 seconds to under 3 seconds, which results in greater
transmission reliability and reduced data costs," added Marks.

"There is no longer the need for bespoke software applications to be
developed for the PDA. Importantly, because organisations'
requirements change and modifications to the mobile application are
necessary, we provide training as part of the managed service, which
enables the end user to easily make these changes via Aeromark's unique
drag and drop web based designer," explained Marks.

Workflow DynMX also makes it easier for customers to integrate with
their existing Enterprisesystems by providing a simple to use
Application Programming Interface (API). Crucially this also allows
integration with Aeromark's Optimatics solution which combines complex
data feeds from the company's telematics systems, field service and job

scheduling applications, to provide the complete mobile worker solution.

"Workflow DynMX enables those wishing to deploy mobile PDA applications
to take advantage of a professionally deployed and managed hosted
solution, secure in the knowledge that modifications can be carried out
in-house and will not incur additional professional fees," concluded
Marks.

About Aeromark

Aeromark is a provider of mobile technology and the next level of
telematics, Optimatics. It has recently announced Workflow DynMX, a
new technology that transforms the way in which mobile workforce PDA
applications are designed and deployed. Based on an ASP model,
Workflow DynMX uses Aeromark's new RapidXB technology and its Binary
Token Protocol (BTP), enabling PDA applications to be deployed in half
the time resulting in significant cost reductions when compared with
competitive solutions. Aeromark's Optimatics is a powerful
technology platform specifically designed for companies with
field-based staff. Also based on a simple ASP model with an
intelligent interrogation engine at its core, Optimatics combines
complex data feeds from Aeromark's telematics systems with its own and
other third party solutions to deliver previously unattainable analysed
data. Access to this new data helps organisations to reduce operating
costs, optimise productivity and increase customer service levels.
Aeromark's are the only systems to gain the status of a Branded
Solution for Orangeand Preferred Telematics Partner for Vodafone.
Aeromark also offers end-to-end support to its customers and its
systems are warranted for life.
