NY Gov. Paterson Nominates Citigroup Executive Marisa Lago To Head

August 25, 2008 (FinancialWire) New York Governor David Paterson has
nominated Marisa Lago, Citigroup Inc. s (NYSE: C) executive, to head
the state's economic development agency.
The nomination of Marisa Lago, head of global compliance for markets
and banks, as chief executive officer of the Empire State Development
Corporation is subject to approval by the legislature.
Gov. Paterson said that Lago, who held similar posts in Boston, would
be responsible for the entire state as chief executive of the agency.
Dennis Mullen, chief executive officer of the Greater Rochester
Enterprise and former chairman of Birds Eye Foods, was nominated as the
upstate Empire State president.
