True call-center outsourcing unit expects 15% growth to B350m
(Bangkok Post (Thailand) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Sep. 30--True Touch, a call-centre outsourcing subsidiary of True Corp, expects to reach its growth target of 15 percent to 350 million baht this year.
The company claims a 30 percent share in the outsourcing call-centre market. It plans to invest in more technologies, including speech recognition, text-to-speech and personalised interactive voice response (IVR) to strengthen its position as a one-stop service.
General manager Suphavadee Trakulboon said the outsourcing call centre market was worth at least one billion baht, with 10-15 percent growth likely this year.
Currently True Touch has about 40 major customers, 90 percent of them private organisations and the rest government agencies and state enterprises.
The majority of the company's revenue now comes from call-centre services and telemarketing.
However, she said that next year, True Touch would place more emphasis on offering consultancy as well as outsourcing call centre system installations, as there was still demand from businesses.
