TORONTO, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - Brains and beauty...Canwest is pleased to announce that L'Or?al Paris has returned as the lead sponsor of the Gemini award-winning series Project Runway Canada, along with official fashion retailer and partner, Winners.

Debuting on Global Tuesday, January 27 - 10pm ET/PT, Project Runway Canada continues to raise the bar this season with an even bigger and better integrated sponsorship deal with L'Or?al Paris and Winners. The brands of the much-lauded beauty and fashion leaders will be strategically utilized across all mediums including in-show, on-air, online and in print throughout the duration of the series run on its premiere network, Global, and in encore presentations on SLICE(TM).

"Project Runway Canada, without a doubt, is the ideal program to showcase these two formidable brands. We couldn't be more pleased to have L'Or?al Paris and Winners back on board for this all-new season," said Errol Da-R?, Executive Vice President of Sales, Canwest Broadcasting. "Both are considered significant entities in the beauty and fashion industries; and in conjunction with our hit reality series, this is truly a powerful combination."

The site will also include enhanced profiles from L'Or?al Paris Beauty Experts Eddie Maleterre and Eric Del Monaco, model blog integrations highlighting key products for creating the designer's model look, and as well, the online L'Or?al Paris beauty page presents a quick round-up of the week's winning look.

"L'Or?al Paris is pleased to partner with Project Runway Canada for a second season. As fashion and beauty are united in all Fashionistas' minds, this alliance is a natural fit and an unparalleled way to bring our brand to life," said Anik Gagnon, Communications Director for L'Or?al Paris. "Our role as beauty expert to the contestants shines a spotlight on our longtime and on going commitment to supporting Canadian designers, most specifically in the case of Project Runway Canada in supporting up and coming talent."

Through the courtesy of Winners, the designers have unlimited access to the Winners Accessory Wall that houses all the latest shoes, handbags, and jewelry to complete their looks for the design challenges. As well, in addition to sponsoring the season's Photo Gallery on the official Project Runway Canada site (GlobalTV.com/runway), Winners further complements the series broadcast with online features of their weekly accessory selections with exclusive tips for fashionistas nationwide.
