AirTight SpectraGuard Enterprise Now Provides Triple Redundancy for Five 9s Wireless Security Uptime

SpectraGuard Enterprise now supports SA-250 and SA-350 appliances providing fail over redundancy in one appliance. With the new appliances, SpectraGuard Enterprise provides three levels of redundancy: -- Standalone (offline) sensor operation -- Two levels of hardware redundancy "Organizations are now supporting mission critical applications on their WLANs, which means that performance and availability are also mission critical," said Sri Sundaralingam, Vice President of Product Management at AirTight. "Three levels of redundancy allow administrators to achieve five 9s of availability (under 9 hours of downtime per year) at a lower price point. With these enhancements, customers are assured that they are always protected even if an appliance fails or the power goes down." AirTight also announced today the immediate availability of SAFE 2.7, its end point protection product with WiMAX connectivity policy enforcement.
