Aureus Pharm extends agreement with sanofi-aventis
(Corporate IT Update Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Aureus Pharma, a provider of knowledge management solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, today announced an extension of its existing agreement with sanofi-aventis, a research and development company, for a further three years.
The new agreement covers the continued updating of existing databases supplied to sanofi-aventis and the provision of new Aureus AurSCOPE knowledge databases. The combined databases will give sanofi-aventis researchers access to information on major therapeutic targets, including GPCR protein receptors, nuclear receptors, kinase inhibitors and ion channels, as well as information relative to drug safety including data on ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion).
The current agreement had been in place for seven years and the extension will secure further income for Aureus for the next three years. No details of the value of the new agreement were disclosed.
