BRIEF: CEO tells Keokuk crowd he wants to bring up to 3,000 jobs to town

KEOKUK, Nov 19, 2009 (The Hawk Eye - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- This Lee County town is in the running for up to 3,000 jobs according to a company CEO.

Patrick Hayes briefly informed the audience this morning at a Keokuk Chamber of Commerce meeting he is interested in bringing his industry, WTF Asia International, to Keokuk.

After the meeting Hayes and Lee County Economic Development Group officials declined to comment more about the company or the potential jobs.


According to an Internet search of WTF Asia International, the company specializes in reuse and recycling of waste into a fuel or other usable products. WTF Asia International has offices in China.
