BRIEF: Bank robber who left wallet behind pleads guilty

Nov 19, 2009 (The Kansas City Star - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A Kansas City man pleaded guilty to federal bank robbery charges today.

Albert Vincent Perkins, 40, admitted stealing $3,129 from First Federal Bank, 4227 Blue Ridge Blvd. on May 7. His co-defendant, Monique M. Hernandez, 42, also has pleaded guilty to her role in the robbery.

According to court records, authorities identified Perkins as the robber after he left his wallet and driver's license behind on a bank counter.
