BRIEF: Hawaii club to host rabbit show

The Hawaii All-Breed Rabbit Club will hold a rabbit show Dec. 6 at Wahiawa Botanical Garden.
All healthy, purebred rabbits of breeds recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association are eligible to enter. Rabbits will be classified and judged to ARBA standards according to breed, variety, and age.
The show is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with judging starting at 10 a.m. at the botanical garden, 1396 California Ave., Wahiawa. Judges are: Cheryl Eng-Link of Kailua and Randy Cler of Wasilla, Alaska.
All rabbits must be contained in transport carriers. To enter the competition, contact Noelle Sutherland, show secretary, 808-622-0857 or send e-mail to nsutherland1@hawaii.rr.com. Eligible rabbits need not be pedigreed nor registered like dogs or cats. However, they must have permanent, legible identifying ear tattoo in left ear. ID tattoing available before show.
