BRIEF: Identity released of bicycle rider in accident with SUV
WARNER ROBINS, May 04, 2010 (The Macon Telegraph - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
The identity of a bicycle rider involved in an accident with a sport utility vehicle in Warner Robins has been released.
Willie Jackson, 48, of Warner Robins, suffered cuts and bruises in the 11:59 a.m. accident at Green Street and North Davis Drive, said Tabitha Pugh, public information officer for Warner Robins police.
Jackson was taken by ambulance to the Houston Medical Center as a precaution, Pugh said.
Maria Elvie Brothers, 42, was driving a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo east on Green Street through a green light at the intersection of Green Street and N. Davis Drive, Pugh said. Jackson was traveling south on the bicycle on North Davis Drive.
No charges are expected, Pugh said.
