China's software industry revenue to exceed RMB1.2 trln in 2010
NANJING, Sep 08, 2010 (Xinhua via COMTEX) --
China's software business revenue
increased 29 percent in the first seven months of this year to 723.1
billion yuan, and the figure is expected to exceed 1.2 trillion yuan
in the whole 2010.
By exploiting China's domestic market, and promoting
industrial structure adjustment, China's software industry rebounded
since last August, and maintained stable development.
In the first half of this year, the software business revenue
topped 604.8 billion yuan, representing an increase of 29.1 percent
year on year. The growth rate was 6.4 percentage points higher than a
year ago.
Business revenues of high value-added technology, namely
value-added IT service, IT consulting and management service, and IC
design service, showed outstanding growth, showing China's software
service sector has gotten rid of the negative impacts from the global
financial crisis, and the adjustment on industrial structure has
taken effect.
Chinese Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology
Yang Xueshan said MIIT would join hands with related governmental
departments to constitute new policies encouraging further
development of software industry and integrated circuit (IC)
industry, and create a better policy environment, to bolster the
development of China's software service sector.
