US PracticeMax takes over healthcare software firm Medinomics

US revenue cycle management and software services provider PracticeMax said on Thursday it had bought local Medinomics, for an unrevealed amount, in line with its growth strategy.
Medinomics offers practice management (PM) and electronic health record (EHR) software and billing services to the medical sector in southern US and it also operates as a reseller of eClinicalWorks EHR and PM solutions.
The acquisition will add to PracticeMaxaEUR(TM)s portfolio of healthcare solutions.
Patrick Lukacs, MedinomicsaEUR(TM)s chief executive will become the vice president of PracticeMaxaEUR(TM)s software services division as part of the deal.
